I"m the kind of person who thinks for a long time before deciding to buy anything. It doesn"t really matter if we are talking about clothes, furniture or home accessories. All details have to match each other; otherwise my aesthetic sense somehow suffers. Anyway, last week I visited our local shopping centre. There is a large shop that specialises in accessories for kids such as clothes, booties, baby bedding sets, blankets, bibs, and other things like that. I went there to choose a blanket for my baby daughter. I spent nearly an hour at the shop! The problem was, I could not decide which of the blankets would match best her set of light cot bedding. It"s a versatile colour but it is really difficult to find something that would match it perfectly. I thought of all sorts of other neutral colours, such as white, beige or grey at first. But the fleece blankets in that colours looked rather dull and the knitted ones were too expensive. Then I looked at some sky blue blankets. They could create a fantastic contrast with my daughter"s cot bedding. But unfortunately, the blankets were all too small. Then I noticed a spring green blanket with pink flowery patterns. It looked perfect and it would surely match the bedding set! I did not hesitate for long because there was only one blanket like that available at the shop.
